cool new idea....Everyone PLS READ...

how about making the forum a place to talk and add downloads...and create a wiki to add tons of youtube revver videos of your own and others...
the wiki has all kinds of videos..performances and some explanations....personalised webpages for some members and so on....but no download links ..just videos of performances and only few exposures....

Now here is the best part...
We make the wiki public giving maximum exposure to it so that everyone visits it and is happy about it...
So we hopefully have many members joining the wiki...
now we put a bargain to the new members...
we say that..the members with most videos posted..will have access to the secret society psytrick...our forum....psytrick.co.cc

lets say we put the critical number 19...

we say to the members that they need atleat 19 video post on the wiki so that they can have access to psytrick forum...which has the bulk of the fun and meat...i mean downloads..

this way we can be selective about members..and aslo only caring memebrs will take the effort to post 19 posts and they will be given the link to psytrick forums having all the download links...

this way our site will have more members and and we have a wider range of acceptance and more popularity withot exposing ourselves and hence greater site activity...

Nice idea, but in that case some ppl from E and PM may post some videos and visit, here. If my objection is wrong. This idea is an best idea.

I would like it to work, but am not sure.
It might be a bit hard to get started, but another problem is like what if people can't put videos up, but are still good? Is there another way to get in, like post up written tutorials or something?
And I guess I agree with Sundeep, but I also think that maybe this idea will not keep bad people out.

Nice idea, Tim. We should not say that we have a secret community coz it may be a invite to E or PM, We must first announce it on LMT. lol

sundeep we have to say about the secret forum...otherwise they wont spend time posting videos and tutorials...and we have mods to prevent unwnated guests to the forum..so chill out..

But just wondering, would it be a good idea to not say what the site is called?
I know this may make it complicated, but if we still stay on this free forum, people might be able to like get through some how, but I guess if we go with a .com/.org/.info or whatever it might be a different story.

Don't bother, it isn't worth it, it was a dumb idea, I was just saying that we should keep the site name a secret...But I guess you don't really have to now.
